While some businesses may experience a slowdown in activity during the Spring months, Pet Sitting at Weston is fortunate to maintain a busy schedule year-round in providing personalized, in-home pet care service.

Pet Sitting at Weston’s clientele base is constantly growing, and for that reason, it is currently seeking a highly reliable, professional and animal-loving individual to join its team for part-time pet sitting and dog walking assignments.

This part-time pet sitting position would be ideal employment for a university-level student, or an individual working another part-time job with great flexibility and availability for workdays and evenings, weekdays and weekends.

The ideal candidate must love animals, feel comfortable around different types of animals and be acute of their needs. The ideal candidate must also have flexibility as sitting times are scheduled per the pet owners’ needs and the pets’ diet, exercise and playtime needs.

Qualified candidates must be at least 18 years old, live in Weston and must meet the following requirements:

• Have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Must be US citizen or have legal residence.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be willing to submit to a background check.
• Have the ability to conduct pet sits or dog walking assignments without supervision.
• Have the physical fitness to conduct multiple dog walks, handle larger, hyper dogs, clean litter boxes, scoop dog poop etc.
  Have a mobile phone.
• Be available and willing to work on a flexible schedule mornings, afternoons and evenings on weekdays, weekends and holidays.
  Exhibit strong schedule management skills and timeliness.
• Ability to provide at least three personal and professional references.

**Not required, but it would be nice to for the candidate to also have verifiable background in animal care (vet clinic, shelter volunteer work, pet sitting or dog walking experience, etc. )

The selected candidate will join Pet Sitting at Weston, a business which existing clients know is a National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) member that provides reliable service and is on call 24/7.

Pet sitting is very rewarding work with generous compensation that requires special dedication and attention to the needs of both pets and the people who own them.
